It all started when…

I competed in Miss Universe New Zealand 2018 where I originally hosted a women empowerment event called ‘Beyond Beauty’. Then when I went viral netizens started labeling me as ‘biase je’ which translates to ordinary or average in Bahasa. However, I wanted to claim power over it and own being ‘biase je’ as I wanted normal everyday girls to relate to me and feel beautiful themselves regardless of who they are, where they come from or what beauty standard they should conform to. Beyond Beauty is now a platform to inspire and empower growth with confidence and resilience. For more information, follow and watch this space.

There are so many external factors that can affect your life but it’s only if you allow it to. Yes there are circumstances beyond our control but we can control how we respond to them and that is what truly matters.
