Time and Time Again

People think that I care for irrelevant things but I really don't. I have better things to do. And yes, I am almost wearing the same outfit as to the previous post. But does it really matter? Sorry not sorry.

I always talk about time. And it’s because it’s always interesting to see what and how things happen or work out. Right now, I seriously cannot believe that this following week is the last week of university for 2017.

Next year will hopefully be my final year of undergraduate studies. That’s crazy.

People are wondering and have been asking why I’m off social media for a while. And it’s because it buys me more time. For the things that I need to do and the things that would be better for me to focus on.

If you have been reading my previous posts, I’ve been super busy juggling between my studies, full-time job, volunteering and social life. Now that I’m done working (until my exams end), I have so much time. And because I’ve also decided to stop going on social media, I have even more time. And I honestly love it.

These days, rather than going on social media in the morning (sometimes for hours). I get ready for the day straight away and hit the books. I feel so much productive and energised and carefree. It’s great. I just love the feeling of not wasting my time.

I’m not saying that social media is a bad thing. It’s not if you use it in a good way and the right way. Social media is just a distraction for me and if you know me, I get distracted pretty easily. It also gives me some sense of self-control- instead of automatically going on social media for when I am bored or when I see a notification pop up, I do something else from my to-do-list.

I save so much time. I feel so much better emotionally and physically. And I get so much done.

Best of all, I focus on myself even more. I respect my time and I always try to cherish those little moments. Because that is what counts. Not the likes. Or the followers. Or what some people are trying to prove.

But don’t worry, expect me to get back on social media sometime in October.

Until then, good luck to everyone with their exams!
