Paua Series: A Change of Heart

If you had been following my blog for the past couple of years you might have stumbled across my Paua Series. The Paua Series was supposed to be about love and what I have learnt throughout the years.

I started it in 2016 and now four years later in 2020 it’s still relevant. I guess love will always be relevant, especially at a time where there is a global pandemic and there is uncertainty for the future. So right now is a good time to tell the people that you love that you love them.

Nonetheless, as time goes by there has been a change of heart and I have decided to unpublish blogs about relationships I had in the past.

What made me decide this is my decision to be more private about my personal life (especially romantic life) in a world where there is so much information on the internet and social media. I’ve also realised that the connections and moments that I have shared with special people should be left sacred.

I have also realised that I have grown as a person and the feelings that I had in the past are no longer the same. I used to hold onto so many things and it has always been so difficult for me to let go. So during the past couple of months I reflected on so many aspects of my life. I healed and understood why I felt the way I used to. I continued to love myself everyday and I learned what it meant to truly love God. Alhamdullilah.

However, there is nothing wrong sharing about your relationship to the world but for me, I want to keep it as private as I possibly can from now on. For those that keep asking and are wondering, this doesn’t mean that I am currently in a relationship but when that day comes, only those closest to me will know.
